Finally Some Good News!

Good news to report, the oncologist called this evening and gave me the results of my PET and CT scans. For the most part it was a good report- The couple of concerning issues in her mind only merited "watching and waiting" rather than biopsies. She has ordered the chemotherapy medicines for next Wednesday, but with scheduling being less than ideal at the infusion center it might not be until Thursday or Friday. I can't begin to express my relief and how very grateful I am for your prayers, love, and continued support. I'm nervous to start chemo, but mostly I look forward to some relief from the pain and suffering I have increasingly endured. I know there will be some pretty sick and "bad days" ahead, but the thought of having many more good days is wonderful. What an amazing feeling to have as I head to bed this evening.
